Designer Spotlight: Trimester Maternity Wear for a Classic Look

Posted on 9/01/2014 in Style
When you’re expecting, you often want clothing that is comfortable and easy to care for. However that doesn’t have to be synonymous with baggy and unflattering! Fortunately it is possible to find maternity outfits that are comfortable and practical, while also helping you look and feel pretty and stylish.

Trimester Maternity Wear fits the bill, especially for those who like a more classic sophisticated look, with flattering soft fabrics and rich colours. Because they are classic in style, many of the outfits can be worn as casual wear, and then they can be teamed with some accessories or a jacket for the office or going out.

For instance, take a look at this little black tie-dress – flattering for just about any shape while being versatile enough for many types of occasions. When matched with some nice jewellery or a patterned scarf and some heels you can wear it going out somewhere special, then take off your shoes and wear it barefoot at home.

And this maxi tank dress – wear this with sandals to the beach, or put a long sleeved top underneath and wear it with some boots and a warm scarf in the colder weather.

As well as being versatile whether you’re dressing up or down, in summer or in cooler weather, the Trimester range also includes clothing items for all kinds of activities. For instance, these lovely flattering yoga capris in easy-care stretch fabric are comfy enough to wear to your exercise or birthing classes. They would also look pretty stylish for lunch afterwards when teamed with a lovely top from the range!

Many of the items can be layered to create a unique look, or to draw attention away from your baby bump if you would prefer.

As well as pregnancy wear, Trimester does items for nursing mothers, which are practical and discreet for nursing while still being pretty.

Have you created a unique look of your own during your pregnancy? Any tips and ideas you would like to share?
