Where are you from and how did you get into fitness?
I'm American with Cuban and Chinese Heritage. My father was very athletic in his youth, I think that's where it comes from! I've always been athletic since school age and have always had a passion for fitness!

What's the best part about being a new mama?
The best part about being a new mama would be learning how to juggle my schedule with two kids. My first daughter is 10 and my second is 1, there are definitely a lot of pros to this. I love that I can relive being a new mom with more patience this time around. I also love that I have an extra hand with my 10 year old and she absolutely loves being a big sis. That too is very fulfilling for me. <3

How important is nutrition to you and what does a daily meal plan look like?
Nutrition is extremely important, it takes eating well and exercising in order to have a great body. My daily meal intake would usually include eggs, fruit, chicken or steak and carbs!

Tell us a bit about your breastfeeding experience and what's one tip for a new mum?
I decided to breastfeed longer this time since I've heard how effective it can be for creating a mother and baby bond. It's true! This time I am still breast feeding Stella at 1 years old, where as with my first I only lasted until 4 months. It's proven to me that as babies start to grow you try holding onto every little moment. Breastfeeding gives you that bond like no other. One tip I would give to any new mum is to not forget to take time out for yourself. This is crucial. Even if it's 20-30 minutes daily, you will need to recharge to give your little one all the love and attention they need.

Lastly you have amazing glowing skin! What is your skincare routine?
HYDRATE HYDRATE HYDRATE!!! I make sure to wash my face day/night using a toner afterwards and I make sure to wear sunscreen during the day.
