A sitz bath is a warm shallow bath where you sit up to your hips and offers a targeted therapy for your perineum as that is the part that is being bathed. Soaking in mild warm water boosts blood flow to the area which can help the healing process and soothe the area.

How to Take a Sitz Bath?
- add about 5-10cm of mild warm water (some may prefer cool water to reduce swelling)
- dissolve 1/2 cup of postpartum sitz salts for extra soothing
- soak up to three times a day for 10-15 min as advised by your healthcare professional
- gently pat your perineum dry (avoid wiping as this can be abrasive)

- do not use hot or boiling water
- always test the temperature of the water before use
- hydrate well before and after use

- Returns must be received within 30 days of the invoice date (40 days for international customers).
- Items must be unworn, unwashed and in their original condition and packaging, with labels attached.
- When returning a bundled set, all items in the bundle must be returned.
- Full priced items are eligible for a refund (this includes items purchased with a promo code).
- Products marked 'on sale' in our clearance section here will receive a store credit only. Store credits are valid for 12 months.
Items that can't be returned
- Hosiery, compression hosiery and socks, and underwear briefs
- Skincare, nursing pads, maternity pads, teas and personal care items
- Swimwear can only be returned if the hygiene protection sticker is intact due to health and safety reasons
